# Reward - $STAR

## What is $STAR token? <a href="#what-is-usdstar-token" id="what-is-usdstar-token"></a>

This is the main reward of EatnSmile. Users can obtain $STAR token for free by adding high-quality [review](broken://pages/lVPmW0inQGiqX2vDPqgZ) in terms of local F\&B stores to the system.

The token will come in two major forms <mark style="color:purple;">**unclaimed token**</mark> and <mark style="color:green;">**claimed token**</mark>.

* <mark style="color:purple;">**Unclaimed token:**</mark> Once users receive rewards from contributing reviews, unclaimed $STAR will appear on their balance. It can be used to purchase [mintcode](broken://pages/3YKSkJiGulIYuvMsmAXk), or to exchange for cool gifts in [Souvenir Shop](broken://pages/uO4CvP7kQxOOUeUS9vWj). This type of token will not appear on Blockchain wallet since it only exists on database.
* <mark style="color:green;">**Claimed token:**</mark> This is the converted form of <mark style="color:purple;">**unclaimed token.**</mark> To convert unclaimed token to claimed token, users need to pay some network gas fees. As a result, $STAR token will appear on Blockchain wallet, allowing users to exchange to other assets on DEXs, and vice versa.

## Token Utility <a href="#token-utility" id="token-utility"></a>

* **Mint Store NFT:** For every 100 $STAR token, users can mint 01 Store NFT without paying any gas fees similarly to mintcode.
* **Exchange on DEXs:** Users can swap $STAR token to other crypto assets directly on different DEXs with ready instant liquidity.
* **Exchange For Gifts:** Instead of exchanging $STAR token to other assets directly on DEXs, users can use the <mark style="background-color:green;">**unclaimed $STAR**</mark> to exchange for rare NFTs, vouchers, etc. in [**Souvenir Shop**](broken://pages/uO4CvP7kQxOOUeUS9vWj).
* **Edit Store Info:** Every time editing store info, Store Owner would need at least 03 $STAR tokens. This mechanism avoids bot flooding and spam.
* **Burn:** Used $STAR tokens in circulation will be burnt 100% automatically by EatnSmile's Smart Contract.
